Description
P1,P5-Di(adenosine-5')pentaphosphate (Ap5A) is an inhibitor of adenylate kinase (ADK), the enzyme which rephosphorylates AMP to ADP, consuming ATP (ATP + AMP โ 2 ADP).
Abbreviation: Ap5A
Application in HRR
- Ap5A: Ap5A (P1,P5-Di(adenosine-5โฒ) pentaphosphate pentasodium salt; C20H29N10O22P5 ยท 5 Na), Sigma-Aldrich: D4022, store at -20 ยฐC, CAS: 4097-04-5, M = 1026.28 gยทmol-1
- Preparation of 100 mM stock solution (dissolved in H2O)
- Dissolve content of Sigma 2 mg glass vial in 19.49 ยตL H2O
- Store at -20 ยฐC.
- ยป O2k manual titrations MiPNet09.12 O2k-Titrations
- Titration volume (2-mL O2k-chamber): 1 ยตL using a 10 ยตL Hamilton syringe.
- Final concentration: 50 ยตM.
