Description

Catalytic activity of an enzyme is measured by an enzyme assay and is expressed in units of katal (kat [molβˆ™s-1]). More commonly (but not conforming to SI units or IUPAC recommendations) enzyme activity is expressed in units U [molβˆ™min-1].
