Description
NV118/MitoKit-CII (diacetoxymethyl succinate) is a plasma membrane-permeable (p) prodrug that diffuses across the plasma membrane. Cleavage of diacetoxymethyl residues is mediated by intracellular esterases, thus releasing succinate in the intracellular space.
Abbreviation: Snv

Application in HRR
- Snv: NV118 25 mg, MW=262.2 g.mol-1
- Preparation of 1 M stock solution:
- Dissolve 25 mg NV118 in 95.1 µL DMSO.
- Preparation of 100 mM stock solution (from the 1M stock):
- Dilute 95.1 µL 1 M stock solution with 855.9 µL DMSO.
- Divide into 50 µL portions.
- Store at -20 °C.
- » O2k manual titrations
- Titration volume: 1 µL steps using a 10 µL syringe (2 mL O2k-Chamber).
- Final concentration: 50 µM steps
- Please consider that the final concentration needed in the O2k-Chamber may vary according to your cell type.
