The Ouroboros and the Tree of Life

In some europe and norse mythology stories the ouroboros was believed to be the protector of the Tree of Life.
Especially in the Greek mythology, tells stories about a great and wise serpent who is called Ladon and guards
the tree of the golden apples of the Hesperides.
