Description
Performance estimation
Reference: ISO 13528:2015 Statistical methods for use in proficiency testing by interlaboratory comparison
- Terms and definitions
- Accuracy: It is defined as the closeness of the results to the true value. We can quantify the accuracy by assessing systematic and random effects on the results.
- Precision: Is the closeness of the results between them not to the true value itself. The two most common precision measurements are the Repeatability and the Reproducibility
