- Setup integrated in a DL-Protocol (*.dlp8 file or *.dlpu8 file).
- Real-time control during an experiment (as in DL7.4)
- Planning ahead an experiment (in DL7.4 only possible when connected to the O2k, it should be independently possible, to be saved as a 'Setup')
